Account Connection mode provides easy way to connect with the remote computer without using IP addresses, ports or any network settings. In this mode Remote Desktop Control can bypass all obstacles like routes, firewalls, etc.
Account is a logical group of Host and Admin computers used for remote control (something similar with work group or domain). Account computers can be located anywhere: in different LANs or in the Internet, even in different continents. Each computer in the Account has a unique nickname.
During Remote Desktop Control installation you should add computer into the existing Account or create new Account if you have no Account. To connect with existing Account you should know an Account Password.
Account computers become automatically visible in the Admin's address book on the "Account Connection" tab. So, you are not obliged to know IP addresses, ports or other parameters to access target Host PC remotely.
Account types:
There are 2 Account Types:
| • | Private (both Admin and Host modules require Account Password to access Account) |
| • | Public (Admin Module requires Account Password to connect with the Account, but Host Module doesn't require) |
Account Management
Each software module (Admin and Host) has "Options" button that calls menu with the following commands:
"Change Account Password, properties...": is used to view your Account info, change Account Type and Account Password.
"Use another Account" command is used to connect computer with another Account. If you don't have any Account, you will be able to create new.
