Host Settings: Security tab.

 

Password.

Access Password defends Host Module from unauthorized remote access. Click "Change Access Password" button if you want to change your current Access Password. Only the person who knows this password will be able to connect with this host.

 

Option "Host Module settings are protected with Access Password" is used to restrict access to the Host Module's settings. Password will be prompted each time when user open Settings dialog.

 

Features available remotely.

"All features". Admin can view Host's screen and control it, restart, turn off Host remotely, etc.
"Screen viewing only". Admin can view Host's screen without ability to interact with it.

 

Remote Access Alert.

 

After checking the option "Interactive user permission is required to accept connection" you will see who tries to connect with your Host PC and you will be able to allow or decline this connection.        

 

IP-addresses filtering.

IP Filter allows access to the Host PC only from specified IP addresses and subnets.

For using IP Filter turn on option "Use IP filtering of connections", click "Edit" button and add allowed IP addresses and subnets to the list in appearing dialog box. Example:

 

Single IP:   192.168.1.15

Subnet:      192.*.*.*
